How to reach TRIESTE
- By Airplane: Airports info (Venice and Trieste Airports)
- If you land in Trieste airport (TRS) a "Transfer-sharing" service is also available on demand and it is named Science-Bus. This service must be booked on-line, no later than two days before, on the following website www.science-bus.com, where you will find the reservation form to be filled in. Otherwise, Trieste airport is also connected by train, journey takes approx 30mins.
- From Venice airport (VCE) there are direct buses (see flexibus) to Trieste. The service is provided by the flixbus company. Venezia Mestre train station is well connected by bus. The train journey from Venezia Mestre to Trieste takes 2h.
- By Ground Trasportation: Stations info and connections (trains/buses)
High speed trains run from Torino, Milano and Venice to Trieste (FrecciaArgento) or from Rome, Florence, Bologna and Venice to Trieste (Freccia). Fast Regional Trains are available from Venice (Mestre). Trieste is also connected daily to several Italian and European cities by an intercity bus service. The service is provided by the flixbus company. - By Car: Local info Highway A4 runs from Torino, Milano and Venice to Trieste and connects highways from Austria and Germany (Tarvisio, Brennero) as well as national highways from south.

How to reach ICTP - Adriatico Guest House
The EFEF will be held at ICTP Adriatico Guest House; see (1) in the ICTP-campus map below. This is located in Grignano right in front of the Trieste bus line 6 terminal stop. You can catch the bus in central Trieste (see bus trajectory in the Trieste map below); the journey takes around 15 minutes (bus 6 timetable). Once in Grignano, walk back up the road for 50 meters to reach the main entrance of Adriatico Guest House on your left (see the "P" sign in the Trieste Map).

Also, a dedicated bus transfers between the city center of Trieste and the campus will be provided on the days of the EFEF at specific times (TBC).
